SAT is a Paper-based standardized test and it serves as one of the criteria for admission to undergraduate programs of universities or colleges especially in the US. It is developed and administered by the Educational Testing Service. The SAT analyses the concerned literacy and writing skills which are needed for academic success in college. They state that the SAT assesses how well the test takers analyze and solve problems.
Considering the sections, the test consists of three major sections: Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing. The total score is calculated by combining the scores of the individual sections. The SAT is offered seven times a year in the United States.
